Paths is seeking a professional Handyperson to maintain residential properties and perform general repairs in Bronx, NY. The role involves coordinating with the Property Manager, scheduling access with tenants, and handling a variety of tasks to keep buildings running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a HS diploma, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Compensation includes an hourly rate with on-call rotation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a maintenance tech/handyperson.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and repair procedures.
• Able to handle a wide variety of repairs independently.
• Good communication with tenants and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Coordinate tasks with the Property Manager/Superintendent.
• Coordinate access with tenants for repairs.
• Efficiently manage incoming service requests.
• Repair walkways and exteriors.
• Log time and activities for each job.
• Complete renovation projects as needed.
• Provide high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Participate in on-call rotations with compensation for travel.
