Job summary

Equus Job Corps seeks a dorm supervisor to guide students, maintain safe living spaces, and support their daily routines. You will mentor youth, enforce schedules, and model professional behavior on campus.

You will supervise dorm operations, conduct roll calls, assist with life skills sessions, document records per center standards, and coordinate with staff to ensure a respectful, harassment-free environment for all students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Experience working with youth required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and mentor them to adjust to center life.
• Ensure students meet schedules and arrive on time.
• Maintain dorm cleanliness and readiness for inspections.
• Provide informal counseling on stress and responsible behavior.
• Document student records and update bulletin boards.
• Conduct daily roll calls and accountability checks in dorms.
• Communicate safety and employability skills to students.
