Job summary

Princeton Management in Detroit seeks a friendly leasing agent to attract residents and provide exceptional service for a beautiful residential community.

You will conduct tours, explain lease terms, assist applicants through the leasing process, and maintain accurate records. A high school diploma is required; real estate interest or certification is a plus; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; real estate or property management certifications are advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; positive attitude.
• Ability to use a computer, including typing, scanning, etc.
• Previous leasing or real estate experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective tenants and residents via phone, email, and in person, delivering excellent customer service.
• Conduct property tours and present units and amenities, answer questions about occupancy terms and pricing.
• Explain lease terms and assist through the leasing process, including lease document creation and eligibility checks.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applications, and resident interactions; report issues to the property manager.
• Understand local rental market trends and regulations; prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently or in a team.
