Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Leasing Agent to join our team and drive occupancy and resident satisfaction. You will leverage your leasing experience to market properties, negotiate lease terms, and deliver exceptional service to prospective and current residents.

Key duties include leading property tours, processing applications, conducting credit checks, and ensuring Fair Housing compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead property tours with professional presentations and detailed knowledge of each community.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and qualify residents per Fair Housing laws.
• Develop relationships with prospects and residents to foster retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies to boost occupancy.
• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure documentation complies with policies and legal requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.
