Job summary

Premier Development in Central New Jersey seeks a proactive Leasing Consultant to welcome prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase community features. You will handle lease documentation and maintain resident records, delivering exceptional service while supporting events and renewals.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a professional appearance and a customer-first attitude. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales and/or customer service is required.
• Residential leasing or property management experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process lease agreements and related documentation in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current residents by responding to inquiries and assisting with service requests.
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident records using property management software.
• Stay informed about local market conditions and competitive communities.
• Handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
• Assist with resident retention initiatives and community events as needed.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position working five days per week, including both Saturday and Sunday.

Hours - 39 hours/week

• Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Three weekdays: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM
