Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Lead Clinician for our residential program in Reading, PA. This full-time exempt role leads clinical supervision, coordinates with psychiatrists and therapists, and ensures high-quality care and documentation for residents.

You will oversee clinical practices, participate in treatment planning, and contribute to program development within a mission-driven organization focused on dignity and independence for clients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to convey clinical concepts in writing and speech.
• Ability to apply clinical and case conceptualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of clinicians and co-leadership with a second Lead Clinician.
• Collaborate with Milieu Supervisor to oversee program.
• Coordinate with consulting therapists, including Psychiatrists.
• Investigate and resolve clinical grievances.
• Provide orientation, training and development for new clinicians.
• Maintain client documentation and timelines in the electronic health record.
• Lead weekly unit meetings and provide caseload feedback.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and assessments as needed.
• Coordinate safety planning and risk assessments for clients.
