Job Overview

R-Value Homes is seeking a skilled Residential Lead Carpenter to manage our construction jobs on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure customer satisfaction, supervise job sites, perform carpentry labor, manage subcontractors, handle material takeoffs and orders, maintain job site records, and manage project budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as on-site lead, representing the company to clients and subcontractors.
• Perform hands-on carpentry: framing, trim, siding, cabinetry, doors, windows.
• Supervise and assign tasks to crew and subcontractors.
• Manage job paperwork, plans, budgets, and change orders.
• Schedule trades, maintain project timelines, and communicate progress.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and secure jobsite daily.
• Handle material takeoffs, orders, inventory, and returns.
• Conduct regular quality checks and enforce company standards.
• Use project management software for documentation and updates.
  
  

Performance Expectations

• Weekly site visits for each assigned project.
• Jobsite cleanliness and organization maintained monthly.
• Meet airtightness standard: <1.0 ACH @ 50 pascals.
• Zero tolerance violations on structural work.
  
  
Qualifications


• 10+ years in framing, trim, or poured wall construction.
• Strong blueprint reading and project leadership skills.
• Builder's License preferred; Chauffeur's License required; CDL a plus.
• Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and Excel.
• Clean driving and criminal record.
