TruGreen in Greenville, SC is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician. You will manage your own route, apply lawn treatments, and build relationships with customers while delivering top-quality service.

No prior lawn care experience is required; we provide paid training and company-paid certifications to help you succeed. This role offers weekly pay, benefits eligibility, and clear career growth within a nationwide lawn care leader.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable with background check; DOT Medical Card is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route and service residential & commercial properties.
• Apply lawn care treatments to properties with attention to safety and quality.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage route and customer information using a tablet and provide exceptional service.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely

What To Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
