Job summary

TruGreen's Stillwater branch is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service a dedicated route and deliver healthier, greener lawns for local homeowners. You’ll work outdoors, drive a company vehicle, apply treatments, and build trusted relationships with customers.

No lawn care experience? We’ll provide paid training, hands-on coaching, and company-paid certification to help you grow and advance within TruGreen’s nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to pass MVR and background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route.
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.

Residential Lawn Care Technician

Location: Stillwater, OK (Stillwater Branch)

Our Stillwater team helps homeowners in the Stillwater area, and nearby communities achieve healthier, greener lawns. You'll help create beautiful, healthy lawns while building a career with a company that invests in your success. No lawn care experience? No problem. We'll provide paid training, hands‑on coaching, and company‑paid certification so you can build the skills needed to succeed.

Hourly pay starting at $17.00/hr (higher starting pay for licensed candidates).

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service
• Work outdoors in a fast‑paced, independent environment safely.

What To Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, self‑motivated, customer‑focused mindset
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
