Job summary

McFarlin Stanford is seeking an experienced Landscape Enhancement Sales & Estimator to identify, estimate, and sell residential enhancement projects. You will develop opportunities, prepare accurate estimates and proposals, and guide homeowners from initial conversation through project handoff.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of residential landscape construction, excels in sales and relationship-building, and can accurately estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs

Qualifications

3+ years in landscape sales or related roles with estimating responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of residential landscape construction and enhancements.
Experience estimating labor, materials, equipment, and project costs.

Responsibilities

Develop and sell landscape enhancement projects to residential clients.
Meet homeowners to understand goals, budget, and site needs.
Identify opportunities during site visits and client meetings.
Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and pricing.
Perform site measurements and material takeoffs.
Estimate labor, plant material, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, lighting, and other costs.
Present proposals and follow up with clients to close projects.
Maintain sales pipeline and track opportunities through completion.
Coordinate with operations and production teams for a smooth handoff.
Build relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
Monitor pricing and margins to ensure profitability.
