Job summary

Coleman Company, Inc. seeks a Civil Project Manager / Engineer to establish residential land development in Brunswick, GA. You will lead design and project execution from concept to construction, mentoring staff and engaging clients.

The role blends leadership, technical design, and business development in a growing coastal office, with PE licensure preferred and GA/SC licensure timing. Expect collaborative teamwork and multiple project responsibilities in a new Brunswick team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license GA/SC or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5–8 years of residential land development design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, drainage, and road layout.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; public speaking ability.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple residential land development projects from concept through construction.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and work plans, including invoicing and collections.
• Serve as primary client contact and foster long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Prepare, review, and seal construction documents, specs, and estimates.
• Provide QA/QC direction and review of peers’ work.
• Lead permitting with Glynn County, City of Brunswick, GA EPD, and GA DNR Coastal Resources Division.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and designers.
