Atwell, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer, EIT in Sarasota, FL to contribute to residential land development projects. You will draft site plans, analyze survey data, and prepare hydrology/hydraulic studies while supporting permits and construction documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior staff, mastery of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication skills to coordinate across disciplines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in land development.
• EIT certification.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring accuracy and standards.
• Analyze survey data and existing site conditions including ALTA surveys and easement documents.
• Prepare hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, and other technical documents.
• Provide construction support such as permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments per standards.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication for project coordination.
