Garrette Homes is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to identify, evaluate, and secure land opportunities for growth in the Puget Sound region. You will build relationships with landowners, developers, and industry partners to drive residential development from acquisition through entitlement.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in land acquisition or real estate negotiations, a business-focused degree, and strong analytic, communication, and project-management skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business/sales or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years in sales, negotiations, or land acquisition.
• Residential real estate experience preferred but not required.
• Mortgage, title, or escrow experience desirable.
• Knowledge of contracts, building codes, land use, storm water, and development is useful.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Develop and cultivate relationships with developers, landowners, public agencies, and realtors.
• Identify properties for acquisition including finished lots and unimproved land.
• Proactively communicate with landowners through outreach and meetings.
• Analyze value and marketability for residential construction.
• Negotiate land agreements and purchase documents.
• Collaborate with Land Acquisition team on strategic projects.
• Manage entitlement and development process, securing permits.
