Meritage Homes Corporation seeks a Director of Land Acquisitions to identify and acquire land and lot opportunities supporting growth. The role is highly entrepreneurial, with field-based sourcing and strategic leadership across divisions.

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of real estate acquisition and negotiation experience.
• Proven experience evaluating complex real estate transactions and financial models.
• Demonstrated success managing negotiations, contracts, and closings.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, source, analyze, negotiate, and acquire land and lot opportunities aligned with growth plans.
• Drive field-based market exploration to identify infill or redeveloped residential sites.
• Lead all phases of land acquisition: underwriting, due diligence, negotiation, contracts, closing.
• Prepare LOIs, purchase agreements, and funding packages for approvals.
• Maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and municipalities.
