Job summary

United Communications seeks a Residential Connectivity Consultant to prospect for residential customers by walking or driving neighborhoods in Middle Tennessee. You will present internet and phone solutions at doors or homes and at local events within Bedford, Franklin, and surrounding counties.

The role is door-to-door with a monthly quota, offering a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. Expect 40+ hours weekly with full benefits and daily territory commutes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (Sales, Customer Service, or Technical Support).
• Comfortable with door-to-door cold calling.
• Ability to use technology tools such as laptop, tablet, and mobile phone.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assess prospects' needs and qualify them based on internet, phone, and streaming TV requirements.
• Conduct cold calls to residential addresses, build relationships, and follow up via email and text.
• Present United Communications’ solutions and close sales.
• Strategically plan territory coverage and manage the sales pipeline.
• Represent United Communications at local community events and engage with prospects.
