Job summary

Easter Seals New Hampshire, Inc. is seeking a 3rd shift Residential Instructor to support youth with neurological and behavioral needs. You will guide groups, assist with daily living activities, and help implement individualized behavior plans in a collaborative team.

The role is overnight (4x10-hour shifts) with full-time benefits, PTO and 403(b) matching. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; candidates with Human Services education or experience are encouraged to

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma required; higher degree preferred with 12 credits in Human Services.
• Two years of residential experience or equivalent combination.
• Be a parent of a child 7+ years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with youth on groups and recreational activities and behavior plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities.
• Help develop coping mechanisms and relationship skills.
• Provide a positive, trusted role model in a team setting.

Job Description:We are looking for a 3rd Shift Residential Instructor to join our team!As a Residential Instructor, you’ll work with youth with neurological and or psychological disabilities. Our clients range from clients who have experienced trauma and abuse, to clients who have non-verbal and behavioral disorders.You will work with clients conducting groups and recreational activities and helping them with their behavior plans.This is not a desk job. Our interactive work directly impacts the lives of our clients. Whether you are assisting a client with daily living activities, improving relationship skills, developing coping mechanisms or teaching a subject, you will become a needed, trusted role model in this team-oriented position.Qualifications: You must be 21 years of age or older, have a minimum of a High School Diploma and meet one of the following qualifications:An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human ServicesTwo years of residential experienceA combination of Human Service college credits and experience working with children totaling 2 yearsBe a Parent of a child 7 years of age or olderCandidates must also have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Compensation: $23.50-$28.00 hourly, based upon qualifications, related experience and education.Hours: Full-Time, Overnight Schedule (4, 10 Hour Shifts, 10:45pm - 9am).Sign-on Bonus: $1,500.
