Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial equipment. You will communicate with customers, promote services, and work under supervision from a Field Supervisor or GM. Location: Scarborough, ME.

Entry requires 1–2+ years HVAC experience, EPA/safety certs, and a valid driver's license. The role offers comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth within a national service organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 1–2+ years' experience.
• Licensing or certification as required by local laws.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Proficient in servicing HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Diagnose and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure status updates during duty.
• Promote products and services and follow up on replacement product sales leads.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly used and accounted for.
• Represent the company professionally and ethically in all business matters.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
