Job summary

Accurate Mechanical seeks an HVAC Residential Service Technician to maintain, repair, and install residential HVAC systems in customers’ homes, ensuring safety and comfort. You will diagnose issues, explain options to customers, and document work and parts used with precision.

The role requires HVAC certification and experience in residential service, with a focus on clear communication and adherence to safety standards. Team collaboration and efficient problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification/license as required by local regulations.
• Experience in residential HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, including heating units, air conditioners, ventilation systems, and related components.
• Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
