Job summary

Accurate Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Residential Service Technician to maintain, repair, and install residential HVAC systems. You will work directly in customers' homes, diagnosing issues and delivering high-quality service in line with safety standards and company policies.

The role emphasizes clear communication with customers and team members, detailed service records, and proactive maintenance to improve system performance and energy efficiency for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification or license as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in residential HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, including heating units, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.
• Install new HVAC systems and components per manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records of work performed and parts used.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
