Job summary

Markool Heating Cooling Plumbing is seeking a Residential HVAC Technician in Frederick, MD. This full-time role involves dispatching directly from home to residential calls to diagnose and repair HVAC systems, with a schedule from 7 AM–4 PM and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Basic electrical and mechanical understanding required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair residential systems independently.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch directly from home to residential service calls and diagnose HVAC systems.
• Complete repairs and communicate solutions clearly to customers.
• Document work accurately and maintain professional appearance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in HVAC
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to diagnose and repair residential systems independently
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• EPA Certification

At least three years of residential service experience, familiarity with ServiceTitan, strong customer communication and presentation skills, and confident independent diagnostics are preferred.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday from 7 AM–4 PM, with on-call rotation, overtime availability, and direct dispatch from home, no reporting to a central office.
