Job summary

Frederick Air Heating & Air Conditioning in Frederick, MD seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to service and repair equipment on-site. The role emphasizes educating homeowners, maintaining high service standards, and building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years HVAC experience, a valid MD journeyman license or willingness to obtain NATE certifications, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of HVAC Experience.
• MD Journeyman License & NATE certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid license with a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills.
• Technical knowledge and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
• Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
• Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submitted daily.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets company quality standards.
• Build and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
• Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.
• Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate.

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35-$45 per hour. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
