Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC in Washington, DC region is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, maintain and repair residential heating and cooling systems while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of residential HVAC experience, EPA/CFC Universal Certification, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. A valid driver’s license and ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA/CFC Universal Certification is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend effective solutions to customers.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times.
• Meet productivity and performance goals established by the company.
• Keep accurate service records and complete required documentation.
• Maintain truck stock, tools, and inventory according to company guidelines.
• Follow vehicle maintenance schedules and maintain a clean, organized service vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience.
• HVAC Journeyman License preferred.
• EPA/CFC Universal Certification required.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
