Job summary

Mitchell Heating & Cooling, Rolesville, NC, seeks a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, repair and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will perform annual maintenance and advise customers on repairs, upgrades and replacements.

We offer a generous sign-on bonus and hourly pay ranging from $31 to $40, with overtime and a strong benefits package including medical, paid vacation/holidays, 401K with company match, a take-home vehicle with gas card, and ongoing

Qualifications

• EPA certification with knowledge of superheat/subcooling.
• Experience diagnosing HVAC systems and recommending repairs or replacements.
• Willingness to obtain a Mechanical License within 2 years.
• Basic sheet metal fabrication and installation knowledge.
• Strong customer service and workmanship standards.
• Valid driver's license with insurable record.
• 2+ years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience.

Responsibilities

$8,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified candidates

Monday through Friday | available overtime

• EPA Certification with strong understanding of superheat and subcooling principles
• Skilled in diagnosing system issues and making informed repair vs. replacement recommendations
• Ability and willingness to obtain Mechanical License within 2 years of employment
• Working knowledge of basic sheet metal fabrication and installation practices
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
