Job summary

Mann Mechanical HVAC, a family-owned residential HVAC company serving southeastern Massachusetts, seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes, perform maintenance, and recommend energy-efficient upgrades.

Strong customer service and local licensing are required. Compensation reflects experience and market demand with a vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service and repair experience.
• EPA certification is required.
• Massachusetts HVAC licenses and certifications should be current.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and inspections.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Service a variety of residential HVAC equipment and systems.
• Document service calls, findings, and recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service while representing Mann Mechanical professionally in our customers' homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options
• Service a variety of residential HVAC equipment and systems
• Assist with equipment replacements and installations as needed
• Work with ductwork, ventilation, indoor air quality equipment, and energy-efficient HVAC systems
• Accurately document service calls, findings, repairs, and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle and work area
• Follow applicable local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety requirements
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
• Provide the level of workmanship and customer service our customers expect from Mann Mechanical

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional who is dependable, motivated, and takes ownership of their work.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service and repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience servicing residential heating and air conditioning equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Applicable Massachusetts HVAC licenses and certifications
• EPA certification
