Job summary

Lee Company is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician to perform residential HVAC maintenance and service. You will install, repair, and maintain a range of equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and humidifiers at customer sites.

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC Install/Service experience, EPA Certification, a clean background, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service.
• EPA Certification.
• Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at journeyman level.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment such as refrigeration, air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and humidifiers.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and related electronics.

Summary of Job

This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the journeyman level. Technician will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred 3-5 years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service EPA Certification Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Skills and Abilities

Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics of system Able to troubleshoot and repair basic piping systems, to include copper, plastic, and carbon steel Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques Knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
