Job summary

Lee Company is seeking a journeyman-level HVAC technician to perform installation, service and maintenance on residential systems in the Nashville area. You will work on equipment such as air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, humidifiers, and related components, ensuring high-quality and safe operation.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required.

• Able to pass background screening and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC maintenance and service at journeyman level.
• Install, repair and maintain equipment including refrigeration, AC, heating, heat pumps, furnaces, humidifiers.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic wiring, piping (copper/plastic/steel) and duct systems.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards on job sites.

Summary of Job

This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the journeyman level. Technician will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service
• EPA Certification
• Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Skills and Abilities

• Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics of system
• Able to troubleshoot and repair basic piping systems, to include copper, plastic, and carbon steel
• Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques
• Knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
