L&S Mechanical, based in Richardson, TX, seeks a skilled HVAC service technician for residential systems. You will repair and calibrate equipment, diagnose issues, and discuss costs with customers in plain terms.

You will order parts after approval and coordinate with a supervisor on challenges, while prioritizing safety and customer service. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in residential HVAC service/startups, an EPA license (Universal preferred), a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a

Qualifications

• 3+ years prior HVAC service and startup experience for the residential construction industry.
• EPA licensed to start up new HVAC equipment – Universal preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Physical ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy objects and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and calibrate HVAC systems; replace components as needed.
• Diagnose problems and explain issues to customers in clear terms.
• Order and collect parts after customer approval; communicate with supervisor on challenges.
• Maintain safety practices and stay detail-oriented, organized and friendly.
