Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Richardson, TX, is seeking an HVAC service technician to diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems under minimal supervision. You will analyze problems, communicate with customers, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires EPA Journeyman certification and valid licensing, with flexibility for on-call shifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 2+ years' experience.
Must possess valid licensing/certifications for the geographical work area.
MUST have Mechanical Journeyman EPA and safety certifications.
Skilled at servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment and related accessories.
Proficient reading of wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant and duct systems.

Responsibilities

Works under general supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems professionally and timely.
Diagnoses and services HVAC equipment and accessories accurately.
Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns.
Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
