Overview

Carolina Comfort Air, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Maintenance Technician to maintain our clients' homes and offices. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in the HVAC industry and a desire to grow their career. Pay Range

This range is provided by Carolina Comfort Air, Inc. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. The base pay range is $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr. Discuss further details with your recruiter.

Job Responsibilities

1. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity using electrical test equipment.
2. Reassemble equipment after cleaning.
3. Recommend and repair defective components.
4. Inspect and repair low voltage wire connections.
5. Adjust system controls to manufacturer specifications.
6. Install auxiliary components like UV Lights, Surge Protectors, Air scrubbers, etc.
7. Install and test thermostats to optimize system efficiency.
8. Dispatch to job sites, arrive on time, and relocate as dispatched.
9. Report to dispatcher at the end of the day and follow instructions from supervisors.
10. Report problems, write estimates, and communicate with customers.
11. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
12. Complete forms accurately and timely.
13. Provide and educate customers about maintenance agreements.
14. Develop knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and testing devices.
15. Build tickets by completing diagnostic checklists and documenting work.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of HVAC-related experience.
• Ability to work from ladders up to 40 feet.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Participation in in-house training programs.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• EPA certification is a plus but not required (can be acquired in-house).
• Self-motivated with a clear, analytical problem-solving approach.
