Job summary

JES Holdings in Columbia, MO, is seeking a Maintenance Tech I with HVAC experience to support basic residential maintenance, unit turns, and curb appeal. The role is full-time, with an 8am–5pm schedule, and requires a high school diploma and 0–2 years of related experience.

You will handle work orders, assist with on-site tasks, and be available for after-hours on-call. Travel to trainings may be required; reports to Property Manager and Maintenance Superintendent. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Entry level, 0 to 2 years of basic maintenance experience in residential, multifamily, commercial, hotel maintenance, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete and assist with daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit turns including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered, insured vehicle.
• Reports to Property Manager, Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Report health and safety concerns to the manager.
• Work overtime as needed and approved.
• Engage in training programs on HVAC and HUD/LIHTC maintenance standards.
