Job summary

Duane Blanton Plumbing, Sewer, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Residential HVAC Manager to oversee service, installation, maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, leadership skills, and a commitment to exceptional service to customers.

You will lead technicians and support staff, manage scheduling and dispatch for service calls and installations, and ensure work meets company standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC management or a similar role.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical/drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record; ability to obtain a chauffeur’s license if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and support staff.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure technical proficiency and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Manage scheduling and dispatching of technicians for service calls and installations.
• Ensure all work is completed to company standards and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of service issues.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
