Byrum Heating & A/C, a NearU company serving the NC area, is seeking a Residential HVAC Installer. You will install residential and light commercial systems, coordinate with customers, and ensure quality workmanship. EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
EPA Type II or Universal Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions.
Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including equipment, ductwork, and ventilation components.
Review job requirements and materials prior to installation.
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Ensure installations meet code requirements and company standards.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Complete installation notes, documentation, and equipment registration.
Assist in training junior team members when needed.
