Job summary

The Lee Company is seeking an experienced HVAC installer to lay out, assemble, and install residential systems across ductwork, gas piping, venting, and electrical connections. You will set up split and package units and bring systems to life at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of field experience, a high school diploma or GED, and EPA refrigerant certification. The role is on-site in Madison, AL with competitive benefits and growth opportunities at The Lee Company.

• EPA certified to handle refrigerant.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install all areas of residential HVAC installations including ductwork, setting, and starting up split and package systems.
• Include gas piping, venting and electrical as part of installation.

Job description

Summary of Job:

Lays out, assembles, installs all areas of residential HVAC installations including any ductwork, setting, and starting up split and package systems. Gas piping, venting and electrical as well.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of field experience
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• EPA certified to handle refrigerant

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of required duct sizing for supply and returns for 1.5 to 5-ton units
• Able to effectively braze all sizes of copper
• Ability to do metal fabrication
• Basic computer knowledge
