Lakeside Heating & Air is hiring a Residential HVAC Install Assistant in Denver, NC. You will join a team of professionals learning to install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, while gaining hands-on experience on real job sites.

Ideal candidates bring a strong mechanical aptitude, are comfortable with tools, and are eager to grow in the HVAC trade. A valid driver's license is preferred and a safety‑minded, team‑oriented attitude is a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Construction or HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning a skilled trade.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, dependable, and eager to grow.
• Team player who enjoys outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of residential HVAC systems and related ductwork.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment to job sites.
• Prepare work areas and keep sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Learn installation techniques from lead installers.
• Use hand and power tools to install and connect equipment.
• Assist with basic electrical and mechanical connections under supervision.
• Care for company tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service in customers’ homes.

What You'll Do

No two days are the same! You'll work alongside experienced installers to help bring comfort to homes throughout our community by:

• Assisting with the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials to job sites.
• Preparing work areas and keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Learning installation techniques from experienced Lead Installers.
• Using hand and power tools to drill, cut, assemble, and install equipment.
• Assisting with basic electrical and mechanical connections under supervision.
• Caring for company tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Following all safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Providing friendly, professional service while working in customers' homes.

What the Job Requires

This is an active, hands‑on position where you'll stay moving throughout the day.

• Lift and carry 50–75 pounds regularly.
• Work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and other confined spaces.
• Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work with tools for extended periods.
• Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

• Full‑time position
• Monday through Friday
