Gentry Service Group in Swannanoa, NC is expanding its installation team and offering an HVAC Apprentice Installer role with paid training. Start with hands-on learning to install residential heating and air conditioning systems, with clear paths to advancement and great benefits.

No prior HVAC experience required—we provide thorough paid training to develop your skills from the ground up while you work a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• Basic math and science aptitude.
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
• Good mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
• Clean appearance and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Learn to perform change-outs, ductwork modifications, and equipment upgrades.
• Help unload and stage equipment and materials.
• Cut, drill, Insulate, and build platforms as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Deliver a positive customer experience on every job.

No previous HVAC experience? No problem! We provide paid training and will invest in developing your skills from the ground up.

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime)
