True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager/General Manager for the Residential Division in San Diego.

This role partners with the San Diego GM to run day-to-day operations and to grow the division, combining leadership, operations, and sales to deliver builder projects. The candidate will own divisional P&L, manage 50–75 personnel, and drive on-time, on-budget execution across single-family and multi-family communities, while maintaining safety and cultivating builder

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership in residential plumbing/HVAC/mechanical contracting
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility of $20M+
• Builder account development experience, Southern California/San Diego preferred
• Leadership of 50+ personnel across field and office
• Sales experience with proven book-of-business growth
• Executive credibility with GM/COO and builder leaders

Responsibilities

• Co-own divisional P&L performance with the GM
• Ensure on-time, on-budget execution across active communities
• Maintain safety standards with the safety function
• Identify operational bottlenecks in schedule, labor, materials, and change orders
• Develop new builder relationships and pursue project opportunities
• Represent the division at the builder table and with corporate leadership
