R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air & Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to support our New Construction division in New Port Richey, FL. You will review plans, prepare detailed estimates, and collaborate with builders and vendors to deliver accurate, competitive bids.

The ideal candidate will have residential HVAC estimating experience, strong plan-reading skills, and knowledge of Florida codes. This role requires organization, deadline discipline, and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating HVAC for residential new construction projects.
• Ability to read architectural and mechanical plans.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Florida building codes and energy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, specs, addenda, and bid documents.
• Prepare HVAC estimates for single-family and multifamily builds.
• Takeoffs for materials and equipment; determine costs.
• Submit competitive proposals and track bid status.
• Coordinate with builders, vendors, and internal teams on VE opportunities.
• Support bid revisions, change orders, and post-bid handoff.
