One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Greater Hartford seeks a skilled residential service technician to diagnose and fix heating and cooling systems. You’ll start your day reviewing scheduled calls, work on furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, and air handlers, and visit customer homes to explain options.

You’ll use your hands-on HVAC experience, perform preventive maintenance, document findings, and grow with leadership opportunities as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HVAC experience is valued for residential service.
• Residential experience is a plus; light-commercial or facilities backgrounds often fit.
• No management or crew-lead experience required; grow with the team as we scale.

Responsibilities

If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, solving technical puzzles, and explaining solutions clearly to customers, you’ll fit right in.A day in the lifeYou start your morning by reviewing scheduled calls on a fully stocked company vehicle. First stop: a furnace short-cycling in a 1920s colonial. You apply electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to isolate the fault, replace a failed control, and verify safe operation. Later, you perform preventive maintenance on a central air system, walk the homeowner through filter changes and thermostat settings, and document your findings for the team.
