Home of Guiding Hands is seeking a House Manager / Residential Supervisor to lead one of our residential homes serving adults with IDD in San Diego County. You will guide Direct Support Professionals, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe, compassionate, person-centered care.

This hands-on leadership role requires a High School diploma, 12+ months of IDD experience, and prior supervisory experience. A California driver’s license is required; CPR/First Aid and Pro-Act certifications are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 12 months of experience working with individuals with IDD preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license with at least two years of licensed driving experience.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and Pro-Act certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of Direct Support Professionals and Residential Facilitators.
• Help ensure staff follow established policies, procedures, and client care plans.
• Support and train staff alongside the Case Manager.
• Coordinate daily routines and ensure responsibilities are completed.
• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and medication administration.
• Coordinate and attend medical appointments and communicate follow-up needs.
• Help manage staffing schedules and provide coverage when needed.
• Maintain accurate client documentation, health tracking, and incident reports.
• Monitor household supplies, medications, food, equipment, and the overall condition of the home.
• Support clients in participating in community activities.
• Provide input on staff evaluations and disciplinary actions.
