Job summary

Home of Guiding Hands is urgently hiring experienced caregivers for our Residential Facilitator positions in San Diego County. You will provide direct support to residents in a residential setting and collaborate with the House Manager to ensure quality, individualized care.

We offer $22.25–$23.25/hour, 34–40 hours per week, and benefits eligibility. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of IDD experience. Apply today to join a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 12 months experience working with IDD population required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass required health screening/TB testing and Live Scan.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and support to residents
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility
• Support individualized service plans and goals
• Administer medications according to agency procedures
• Complete documentation and ISP data
• Encourage community activities and independence
• Transport residents to appointments and activities
• Help with household responsibilities, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping
• Communicate important information to the residential team
