Job summary

Altior Healthcare is seeking a Group Therapist for a residential program focused on youth mental health. The role emphasizes group facilitation, initial biopsychosocial assessments, and crisis intervention within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in a related field, have 2+ years in behavioral health with adolescents, and possess LCMHC or MFT Associate licenses. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, addiction, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Minimum of two years of work or volunteer experience with adolescents.
• LCMHC and/or Marriage and Family Therapy Associate license/certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates 6–7 psychoeducational and skill-based groups daily.
• Ensures groups start on time and attendance is maintained.
• Facilitates process groups as assigned.
• Works with multidisciplinary team to address client problems.
• Participates in Continuing Case Conferences.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintains group progress notes in electronic medical records.
