Job summary

Ambrosia Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Group Facilitator to join our adolescent residential behavioral health team. You will lead psychoeducational and therapeutic groups, support clients throughout the treatment day, and help create a safe, structured environment for recovery and emotional wellness.

The role requires a Master's degree in counseling or social work and proven abilities to engage and motivate adolescents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or social work is required.
• Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, mental health, substance use, or residential settings preferred.
• Strong group facilitation and communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to engage and motivate adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily psychoeducational, life skills, wellness, and recovery‑focused groups for adolescent clients.
• Encourage participation and foster a positive, therapeutic group environment.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support treatment goals and reinforce therapeutic interventions.
• Document group attendance, participation, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with program activities, recreational groups, and client engagement initiatives.
• Maintain professional boundaries and serve as a positive role model for clients.
• Support a safe and structured milieu while adhering to facility policies and procedures.
