Job summary

Alternative Services-NE, Inc. (ASI-NE) seeks a Home Manager to lead an IDD residential program with a compassionate, energetic leadership style. You will mentor staff, support residents in goal achievement, and foster a positive home environment for meaningful living.

Responsibilities include daily operations, staff hiring/training, policy compliance, and promoting person-centered care, with 25+ direct care hours weekly. A DSP certification and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• DSP Certification is required.
• Age 21 or older.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work directly with individuals served.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
• Completion of required trainings (Welle, CPR/First Aid, regulatory training).

What You'll Be Doing

Overseeing daily operations of the home

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Required:

• DSP Certification
• Age 21 or older
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work directly with individuals served
• Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications
• Ability to complete required agency trainings including Welle, CPR/First Aid, and other regulatory training

Preferred:

• CRMA Certification
• Several years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness
• Previous management experience
• Background in healthcare, human services, housing, or specialized residential programs

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• DSP or MHRT Certification
• Four (4) years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness
