Job summary

The NEEDS Center, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit, is hiring a House Manager for our Boxford residential group home. The role pays $27–$30/hr and includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible and become a positive role model for staff. Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring coverage with evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a residential setting with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Supervisory or lead experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• MAP Certification is required.
• Valid Mass or NH driver’s license (or able to obtain within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Serving as a role model for staff in client programming, client services and professional practice.
• Supervising Assistant Program Coordinator and Program Specialist staff.
• Overseeing day-to-day operation of a residential program for adults with autism.
• Schedule includes evening and weekend shifts.
• On ratio at least 1-2 days per week and assisting with hands-on direct care support.

HOUSE MANAGER (Residential Group Home)

The NEEDS Center is a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization that provides services & supports to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are now hiring a House Manager for our Boxford residential group home!

• Hourly rate is $27-$30 an hour.
• Schedule includes one weekend shift
• This is a Full-Time position and it is eligible for overtime.

In this position you will assist and support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of Community Living.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a role model for staff in all areas of client programming, client services and professional practice.
• Supervising Assistant Program Coordinator and Program Specialist staff.
• Helping to oversee the day-to-day operation of a residential program for adults with autism.
• Schedule includes evening and weekend shifts.
• This position will include being on ratio at least 1-2 days per week and assisting with the hands-on direct care support of the adults in our care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
• At least 2 years of experience working in a residential environment working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Supervisory or lead experience (can be in a different industry)
• Good communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Must have MAP Certification
• Must have a valid Mass or NH driver’s license (or be able to get one in 60 days)
