Job summary

The Arc of Litchfield County, Inc. in Torrington, CT is hiring a Residential Manager to oversee homes for individuals with disabilities.

You will supervise staff, ensure safety, compliance, and quality of life for residents, and coordinate with clinical teams to provide holistic support. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and hands-on care as needed, with on-call duties and possible night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years college education in Human Services or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an I/DD setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• CPR/PMT/First Aid certification and DDS medication administration certification required.
• Valid CT Driver’s License and ability to obtain Public Service License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health, well‑being, and development of residents in the home.
• Supervise and develop Direct Support Professionals on shift.
• Maintain home upkeep and ensure LARC standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure coverage for all shifts.
• Coordinate with DDS case managers and guardians for reviews.
• Participate with clinical staff to meet resident needs and document plans.
• May conduct nights/weekends shifts and on‑call duties as needed.
