Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. seeks a Residential Group Home Manager in Demarest, NJ to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure a safe, empowering living environment for individuals supported. You will supervise DSP staff, coordinate programming, and ensure compliance with regulations and ISP/treatment plans.

You will manage site budgets, complete documentation, and prepare for licensing visits while fostering teamwork and high-quality care across the residential site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with adults with IDD/Behavioral Mental Health in a group home.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role in human services.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant regulations and program policies.
• Basic computer and internet literacy to enter and retrieve data.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with insurance.
• Subject to FBI clearance and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line supervision of all site staff and meet regularly to provide skill training.
• Interview and make recommendations regarding new DSP candidates.
• Participate in planning and team meetings for each consumer.
• Respond to crisis situations and complete incident reports.
• Develop and coordinate monthly consumer activities and ensure implementation.
• Manage day-to-day site operations as prescribed in ISP/treatment plans.
• Oversee site expenditures and maintain safety of the physical site.
• Ensure timely completion of site documentation and prepare for licensing visits.
