Job summary

NLC Support is seeking a Group Home Manager to oversee a new residential group home in Ewing, NJ. The role focuses on assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily living activities and ensuring quality care.

The ideal candidate has prior group home management or residential supervision experience, strong communication, and a commitment to safety. CPR certification and background checks are required, with drug testing as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience in a group home as a manager or residential supervisor.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must pass background check, Cari check and drug test.
• CPR certification required.
• Will assist in acquiring required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist in developing independent living skills.
• Monitor health and safety of individuals.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
