Job summary

The Glass Guru of Springfield is seeking a Glazier / Installer to fulfill in-home installations and ensure a top-notch customer experience. You will inspect, load materials, coordinate with the office, and complete the installation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, communication of delays, and post-installation care guidance, with a focus on leaving the home in pristine condition.

Qualifications

• 1 year of residential glass installation experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean DMV record.
• Capable of lifting up to 50–100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials for correct size and style, and check for damage.
• Load required materials and safety equipment into installation vehicles.
• Communicate delays to office and customer.
• Validate work, products, locations, and estimated completion time on arrival.
• Install products and troubleshoot on-site; resolve installation issues.
• Note issues and required materials if installation cannot be completed as promised.
• Coordinate with team to order missing materials and manage go-backs.
• Protect customer property and leave the space cleaner than before.
• Explain care, warranty, and follow-up contact after installation.
