Job summary

The Glass Guru of Temecula, CA is seeking a Glazier / Installer to fulfill in-home installation projects and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will inspect materials, load tools, communicate delays, and ensure accurate installation while safeguarding the customer’s home.

Responsibilities include installing products, troubleshooting on-site, coordinating with the team, and ensuring clean, safe completion with proper care guidance and warranty information.

Qualifications

• 1 year residential glass installation experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• All candidates must pass initial background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record.
• Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspect job materials to ensure correct size, style and no obvious damage.
• Load required job materials to installation vehicle(s) with safety equipment and paperwork.
• Communicate to office and customer if we'll be late for scheduled installation.
• On arrival, validate work to be completed, products, locations, timing, and manage expectations.
• Install all products as per work order, troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.
• If unsafe or cannot complete, note issues and arrange materials/date for rework.
• Coordinate with team members about incomplete work, order new materials, and manage customer expectations.
• Ensure customer’s home/business is left cleaner than found, using booties and careful cleanup.
• Close out installation by explaining care, maintenance and warranty details to the customer.
