Job summary

The Glass Guru of Carrollton is seeking a Residential Glazier/Installer to complete high-quality residential glass installations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role represents our company in the customer’s home or business and plays a critical role in ensuring every job is completed safely, professionally, and correctly.

You will load materials, follow safety standards, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the office to meet timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of residential glass installation experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to lift 50–100 pounds safely.
Physically capable of installation work in residential and light-commercial environments.

Responsibilities

Inspect products and materials for size, style, quality before leaving for the job.
Load vehicle with required products, tools, safety gear, and backups.
Notify office and customer of delays.
Confirm material list, installation locations, and estimated completion time on arrival.
Install products according to quality and safety standards.
Troubleshoot challenges and resolve issues safely.
Document incomplete work and return visits with materials and reasons.
Coordinate with team to ensure orders and expectations are met.
Protect property with booties, drop cloths; leave site cleaner.
Review work with customer and explain care, warranties; collect payment when required.
